Driving Directions:
Boston College is located on the Boston-Newton border in Chestnut Hill. The
campus is approximately six miles west of downtown Boston, and is accessible by
public transportation. Parking is free for FCB events.
From Points North and South:
Take Interstate 95 (Route 128) to Exit 24 (Route 30). Proceed east on Route
30, also known as Commonwealth Avenue, for about five miles to Boston College.
Enter the campus via Commonwealth Avenue next to the St. Ignatius Church (this
is the second entrance to the campus from this direction). Take your first right
at the Boston College sign by the guard house. Vanderslice Hall is the first
building on your left. Follow the road to the parking garage (about 400 yards)
and park. When exiting the garage, turn left and walk back to Vanderslice
Hall.
From Points West:
Take the Mass Pike (Route 90) to Exit 17. At the first set of lights after
the exit ramp, take a right onto Centre Street. Follow Centre Street to the
fourth set of lights, and turn left onto Commonwealth Avenue. Follow
Commonwealth Avenue for one and a half miles to the Boston College campus. Enter
the campus via Commonwealth Avenue next to St. Ignatius Church (Note: this is
the second entrance to the campus from Commonwealth Ave.). Take your first right
at the Boston College sign by the guard house. Vanderslice Hall is the first
building on your left. Follow the road to the parking garage (about 400 yards)
and park. When exiting the garage, turn left and walk back to Vanderslice
Hall.
From Downtown Boston:
Take the Mass Pike (Route 90) to Exit 17, Newton Corner. Take a left over the
bridge after passing the Sheraton Hotel. Take the first right onto Centre
Street. Follow Centre Street to the fourth set of lights, and turn left onto
Commonwealth Avenue. Follow Commonwealth Avenue for one and a half miles to the
Boston College campus. Enter the campus via Commonwealth Avenue next to St.
Ignatius Church (Note: this is the second entrance to the campus from
Commonwealth Ave.). Take your first right at the Boston College sign by the
guard house. Vanderslice Hall is the first building on your left. Follow the

By Public Transportation:
The Boston College branch of the MBTA's Green Line (B Train) ends at the
Boston-Newton boundary on Commonwealth Avenue. Exit the train at the last stop,
cross Commonwealth Avenue and walk past St. Ignatius Church into the campus.
Take your first right at the Boston College sign by the guard house. Vanderslice
Hall is the first building on your left. |
